Installation

QBO Power Tools is currently in early access. Once the Chrome Web Store listing or private beta is available, the extension will activate automatically on supported QuickBooks Online pages.

Command Palette

Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) to open the command palette. Start typing to search for pages and actions. Use arrow keys to navigate, Enter to select, and Escape to close.

Keyboard Shortcuts

QBO Power Tools uses vim-style chord shortcuts:

• g then d — Go to Dashboard
• g then e — Go to Expenses
• g then i — Go to Invoices
• g then s — Go to Sales
• g then b — Go to Banking
• g then r — Go to Reports
• g then a — Go to Chart of Accounts
• ? — Show all shortcuts

Shortcuts don't activate when you're typing in an input field.

Batch Categorize (Pro)

On the Expenses page, open the command palette and select "Batch Categorize". The extension will add checkboxes to transaction rows. Select the transactions you want to categorize, enter a category, and click Apply.

Pro License

Paid plans are not live yet. During early access, we will send onboarding details by email to invited users. When Pro launches publicly, billing and activation will be handled through the product account flow.

Troubleshooting

• Extension not loading: Make sure you're on app.qbo.intuit.com. Try refreshing the page.
• Shortcuts not working: Click somewhere on the page first (not in an input field). Check that shortcuts are enabled in extension settings.
• Batch categorize not available: Make sure you're on the Expenses page and have a Pro license.
